Commissioners met for their weekly meeting with Lee Randall and Donna Giacometto present. Rod Schaffer absent.
Meeting was called to order.
No public comment was received at this time.
Consent agenda – Lee moved, Donna seconded this motion, all in favor, motion carried. Consent agenda approved.
The board worked on finalizing advisory boards. There were some term dates that needed updated.
The board attended a health board meeting at 2 p.m.
Road supervisor, Teel Mullanix, stopped by to inform the board that the tires for the loader at the landfill will cost more than originally anticipated.

January 21, 2020
Commissioners met for their weekly meeting with all members present.

Consent agenda – Rod moved, Donna seconded this motion, all in favor, motion carried. Consent agenda approved.
Clerk & Recorder updated board of a couple issues that have come through the office since their last meeting. Soil Conservation District has asked to move the Soil Conservation (7390) expenditures from salary/benefit to insurance and misc. Soil Conservation District will now be paying her salary/benefits.
Maintenance supervisor, Marty Drane met with board. He reported the acoustic panels at the community center are finished, he replaced all light bulbs in courthouse lobby and Bruce Rogge will be covering the maintenance at the courthouse while Dave Hoppe is out of work. Commission asked Drane to check on the mic system at the barn and paint the bottom of the door orange. Board reminded Drane of blood control boxes that need installed. Drane will also check into a keyless entry system for the MP and Community Center buildings.
Road Supervisor, Teel Mullanix, met with the board for his weekly meeting. He reported the landfill tires will not be foam filled and they will be here this week. The crusher from Wyoming will possibly be here by June. Discussed gravel hauling.
Katie Ward, cemetery board member, met with board. She informed the board of map builder out of South Dakota who helps counties get up to date of their maps. He mainly works on the smaller cemeteries. She reported there are grants available to help with the funding on this project. She reported to the board her work on the mapping of the cemetery. She would like to make the sections alphabetical instead of numerical, to help with the confusion. This change would only affect the mapping at the cemetery nothing in the county records would be affected. Commissioners approve the change in mapping as long as the cemetery board approves also.
Medical Administrator, Sean Hill met for his weekly meeting 21 residents were reported. Patrick Flanigan has been hired as the NP for the clinic. He will need to get credentialed and until then Jeff Hostetter will sign off on all his work. Hill updated board on various nursing and clinic happenings. The new PAC system has been ordered. Discussion was held on the ambulance.
Vikki Klemm, Clinic, stopped in to visit about board regarding issues at the clinic and medical billing.
The board then voted to create Medical Maintenance Department. Rod motioned to create the new department, Donna seconded the motion, all in favor, motion passed.
Pat Ridenour, Senior Center Director, stopped in to discuss Ruth Peck using an office at the nursing home. Sean Hill has approved the use of office space.
Brendon Stevenson stopped in to inform board of upcoming state jail inspection and asked a commissioner to attend. The inspection is dated for Thursday, January 23, at 9:30a.m.
