MOMS Club looking to expand availability of baby changing table in Broadus

The recently organized Southeastern Montana Moms Club has been busy planning a variety of activities for both mothers and children. There are playgroups, babysitting coops and holiday parties. There are also activities designed for just the moms such as cooking, couponing, crafts, outings, books and exercise. MOMS Club plans all their activities during the day, when moms need the most support. Members can bring their children with them to just about everything we do. We believe you should be able to participate in the community - with your children.

Each chapter plans at least one service project to benefit their community every year. This year our local chapter is raising money to install baby changing tables throughout Powder River County.

If you're looking for other mothers to connect with and want a wide variety of activities for you and your children, Moms Club is for you!

Our plan is to to raise enough funds to place baby changing tables in most public locations around Broadus. We have an upcoming raffle for a Valentine's Day gift basket. It will include gift certificates or products for dinner, drinks, flowers and candy, all donated by local businesses. We are selling tickets for $5 a piece or 5 for $20. If anyone is interested in purchasing tickets, they can contact myself or any MOMs Club member.

We are also accepting direct donations to speed up the process.

The last part of our plan is to ask local businesses to purchase and install their own changing tables. Ideally, we'd like to see at least one business install a table for every one that we install in a public location. So far, we have one business that has committed to installing a table, the Broadus IGA. We want to thank Rita for her generosity.
