Sheriff's Department looking for suspicious person

The Powder River County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call early last week of a suspicious person lurking near a home in Crane Acres. Apparently, the resident saw a person outside their home, called to the person, and the person took off on foot from residence before a positive ID could be made.

Subsequent attempts to track the individual on the hard ground were to no avail, and no other reports have been made of the prowler since the initial sighting.
