In the month of December, when school is winding down for Christmas break the Broadus FFA is working harder than ever. Corbin Irish set up a coat drive at the Greenhand ceremony, and the Ag II class delivered the coats to St. Vincent's. The Ag II class also learns about meat this time of the year and uses that knowledge to make to food baskets that the FFA donates to the food bank for families in need. The last big event of December was the long awaited state officer visit.
The Montana State Officers go around the state visiting with local chapters doing leadership training, AET education, and just talk about the FFA foundation. Montana State FFA 1st Vice President Lucas Oelkers from Culbertson, and 2nd Vice President Isaac Sponheim from Richey, visited Broadus in December.
Happy Holidays from the Broadus FFA!
