The Broadus Kindergarten Class performas a rousing tune at the Elementary Christmas Concert.
On December 19, 2019, the Broadus Elementary held their Christmas concert entitled A Musical Christmas Card. Once again, Mrs. Lisa Lynch, directed a delightful holiday concert!
To kick of the show the 5th Grade Band performed a traditional rendition of Good King Wenceslas and Jolly Old St. Nicholas, an American Carol. The 6th Grade Band played the catchy tunes Christmas Cheer by G. Sebesky and Christmas on the Farm by M. Williams.
Next up the 5th and 6th Grade Boys performed the original version of School Desk Blues.
The 4th Grade, consisting of Lucas Capp, Brooke Escott, Brock Gali, Alexis Gotfredston, Max Grant, Emelyn Harper, Whitney Hartman, Colton Jones, Bonita Kinzer, Madisyn Kramme, Kanin Krantz, Landyn Merwin, Grayson Murdoch, Addison Randall, Dylan Roberts, Rachel Rosencranz, Danica Schroeder, Jordyn Schroeder, Braydn Stoddard-Terrill, Emma Stackbein, Kade VerWolf and Tenley Yonkee, sang the Traditional God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Angels Lullaby by J. Gallina.
The Kindergarten students, Caden D'Amico, Carson D'Amico, Trace Emmons, Thad Escott, Griffin Gardner, Myla Gatlin, Senra Gnerer, Paisley Harper, Charles Hartman, Krystin Kramme, Emma Mills, Sophie Ostendorf and Kambry Yonkee, sang A Hat for My Snowman by T. & P. Jennings.
3rd Grade and Kindergarten teamed up to sing Jingle Bells/Sleigh Ride Through the Snow by Ditaranto/Wisner.
Rickee Bilbrey, Mikayla Capp, Maci Emmons, Clinton Handran, Kaya Hunt, Joelle Jurica, Hazel Kinzer, Avery Kramme, Dylan Krantz, Faith Lockrem, Peyton Martinson, Gus Strackbein and Daxson Wahl of the 1st grade class performed Christmas Cookies and Christmas Candy by E. Harris.
The combination of 1st and 2nd Grade presented The Chipmunk Song by R. Bagdasarian.
The 2nd Grade, Carter D'Amico, Aria Gatlin, Anna Hagedorn, Raegan Klemm, Courtney Kuhbacher, Macey Madsen, Pruitt McDowell, Kinzie Randall, Scarlett Talcott, Ilea Wahl and Given Zimmerman sang A Holly Jolly Christmas by J. Marks.
The 3rd Grade, Karlee Emmons, Reece Emmons, Addison Harper, Kacyn Hinman and Sammie Threefingers-Hart performed Up on the Housetop/Hey You by Jacobson/Billingsley.
The 5th and 6th Grade Girls together performed There's Someone in the Chimney by T. Jennings.
5th Graders Justin Aye, Shaylee Bilbrey, Logan Capp, Kyler Day, Caty Emmons, Tabitha Escott, Kassie Hagedorn, Ashton Madsen, Macyn McDowell, Kordell Schonenback and Laney Williams sang The Christmas Tree Feud by Jacobson/Miller and Carol of the Angels by J. Gallina.
6th Grade students, Novalee Blakeman, Gracey Bradley, Kensi Emmons, Gracie Gali, Reuben Kinzer, Baylor Kuhbacher, Nathan Lanchbury, Maggie Mader, Kayleigh Opstedahl, Tayla Randall, Aiden Roberts, Payton Rumph, Peyton Simmons, Darren VerWolf and Terryn Yonkee performed Tell the News by M. Donnelly and Blitzen Boogie by J. Gallina.
To conclude the wonderful evening, everyone joined together to sing This Magic Season by T. Jennings.
