Christmas Sweater Day at the elementary will be Friday, December 20th. The sweater can be a regular Christmas sweater, or it can be an ugly Christmas sweater. Whatever makes your student feel festive. There will be an early release at 2:20.

The Elementary Christmas Concert is Thursday, Dec. 19, in the HS Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. Look for Hawks at Concerts Behavior Expectations in the auditorium. Even better - ask your student to discuss the expectations with you.

Want to give kids something they will remember? Sometimes kids get so many toys for Christmas that after a few days the toys become yesterday’s forgotten news. A different approach to giving would be to make holiday memories as a present. One way to do that is a coupon book of things to do with you. There are blank coupons to add your own ideas about making lasting memories this Christmas season on the back of this newsletter. If you would like to get copies of the rest of the coupon book, please stop in and ask for copies in the elementary office. You can pick which activities you would like to do. These make great stocking stuffers and holiday memory makers!

4-H MINI CONGRESS - It is time for the 26th Annual 4-H Mini-Congress hosted by our Powder River Teen 4-H club. Bring tennis shoes for the gym and wear sweats or shorts if signing up for the basketball workshop. Registration forms are due THURS. DEC. 19th at the PR Extension Office.
