Finn Collins Earns Eagle Scout

Finn Collins recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Boy Scouts. To earn Eagle Scout, a Scout has to complete a comprehensive set of requirements, including completing over 21 merit badges, practice leadership skills by having several positions of responsibility leading fellow Scouts in the troop and designing and executing an Eagle Scout project benefitting a local non-profit organization. Finn is an active Scout in Troop 730-Dallas Texas.

Finn's project entailed leading Scouts, and other volunteers in the building of a seating area at Operation Kindness, a no-kill animal shelter. Finn has a personal connection to Operation Kindness, as he volunteers there on a regular basis and adopted the family dog, Giuseppe, from Operation Kindness.

Finn is a Sophmore at Parish Episcopal School of Dallas and is active in drama and plays tennis for the Panthers.

Finn is the son of Melissa and William Collins of Dallas, Texas. He is the grandson of Tom and Judy Collins of Broadus, Montana and Lorraine Agopsowicz and the late Stan Agopsowicz of Regina, Sas-katchewan.
