Libby Olson is an Eastern Montana native that comes from a strong farming and ranching background. Libby attended Miles Community College where she obtained her Associates Degree in Agricultural Science while working part time at the USDA-ARS Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory and is now a recent graduate of Nebraska's Chadron State College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Rangeland Management with an Ecology emphasis.
Libby has interned for the NRCS since 2016, previously working in both the Jordan and Stanford, MT Field Offices as a Soil Conservationist. She is now continuing her career at a permanent location as a Range Management Specialist in Powder River County, where she looks forward to familiarizing herself with the county and building relations with local producers, so that she can continue following her passion that reflects the agency's motto; "Helping People, Help the Land".
