Broadus Briefs by Bernice Canon

Many people from the Sonnette and Broadus communities met at the Sonnette Hall Saturday evening in celebration of the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Greenwood. The Classic Country Band played for the dance that followed - even passed the hat for more music after quitting time - sounds like old times doesn’t it?

Camille McIntyre of the Coalwood area received a call last week that Don McIntyre, younger brother of the late Kelly McIntyre had won a sizeable lottery jackpot, over one and a half million dollars! Don lives in Medford, OR.
