The Broadus High School Band performs at the Christmas Concert, last Tuesday evening.
The combined Junior High and High School Choirs perform at the Christmas Concert.
The Broadus Junior High and High School Band and Choirs performed their Christmas Concert, last Tuesday in the High School Auditorium. Lisa Lynch and Lisa Gaskill provided direction and musical accompaniment for the evening, and with the student's musical talents, put on a lovely show for the community.
The combined HS and JH choir performed three songs to begin the night, including "Winter Fantasy", by Gallina, "The Winter Wind", by Donnelly & Strid, and "Cold Snap", by Hayes.
The Senior Band members then performed "Frosty the Snowman" solely with bells.
The JH Choir performed next, singing "Born, Born in Bethlehem", by Moore, and "Happy Holidays", by Lightfoot.
The JH Band enchanted the crowd with a Ukrainian Bell Carol, a rendition of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer", and "Can Santa Can Can", an arrangement by Balent.
The Fr/So/Jr Band members then tested their bell skills, with "Angels We Have Heard On High" by C. Crockarell.
The High School Choir sang "Tiny Little Baby Born in Bethlehem," and a Joy to the World Medley.
The High School Band then serenaded the crowd with three songs: "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", "Rock the Halls", and "Kings of Swing".
The Senior Band Members finished the night with "I Saw Three Ships" performed on hand bells, which was a first for Broadus.
The High School Band consists of: Lea Aye, Kiarah Coulter, Kylee Drane, Alessandro Gallieni, Luke Herzog, Beau Kuhbacher, Brian Hopkins, Megan Johnson, Abigail Martin, Erick McConnon, Christian Middle Rider, Kyle Minow, Keelyn Murdoch, Samantha Perry, Kye Stanley, Jadyn Traub and Deanna Twedt.
The High School Choir is comprised of: Megan Johnson, Shannon Knapp, Kori Kolka, Luke McAlpine, Erick McConnon, Tate Page, Layla Preite, Tawna Quiroz, Hannah Rasmussen, Savannah Senn-Weaver, Kye Stanley, Donavan Sturtz and Deanna Twedt.
Members of the Junior High Band include: Jaxon Bilbrey, Lauryn Billing, Lucinda Cain, Landen Capp, Alex Edwards, Cale Emmons, Dillon Gee, Ezra Gotfredson, Matthew Hansen, Eli Heacock, Sophie Irish, Emma Isaacs, Aiden Kenelly, Abi Krantz, Paysen Kuhbacher, Hylee Layne, Marcus Mader, Mia Mader, Ciara McDowell, Joshua Rasmussen, Collin Roberts, Brandon Rogers, Oliveah Schaffer, Zeason Schaffer, Rheanna Schroeder, Dharma Sturtz, Kolton Williams and Cooper Zimmer.
