Election Results Certified

The official election results have been certified in Powder River County, after a provisional ballot was counted. No results changed, though the totals did change.

Of the 1297 registered voters in Powder River County, 984 ballots were cast.

In the US Senate race, county wide voting was as follows: Tester - 203, Rosendale - 748, Breckenridge - 22.

For US Representative, Williams garnered 172 votes, Gianforte, 785, and Swanson 18.

In the Clerk of the Supreme Court race, Renk received 122 votes, Greenwood, 740, and Roots, 36.

In District 19, State Senator, Stange received 40 votes to Bogner’s 382.

For State Representative in District 37, Moore received 376 votes, and in District 41, Peppers got 179.

In local elections, with all races being unopposed, Lee Randall received 812 votes for County Commissioner, Cynde Jo Gatlin got 886 votes for County Clerk and Recorder, for Sheriff/Coroner, Allen Drane Jr received 740. County Attorney Jeff Noble attained 656 votes. For County Superintendent of Schools, Molly Lloyd received 872 votes, and Phoebe Amsden, 805 for Public Administrator. Pat Phillippi garnered 813 votes for County Treasurer/ Assessor. There were 772 yes votes and 124 no votes for Justice of the Peace Cathy Landa.

For Supreme Court Justice #4, Baker received 603 yes votes and 140 against. For Supreme Court Justice #2, Gustafson, there were 596 yes votes and 144 no votes cast.

District Court Judge, District 16, Dept 1, Hayworth got 694 yes votes and 91 against. For Dept 2 - Murnion, there were 692 yes and 82 no.

Two referendums passed. On Referendum No. 128, 486 voted yes, 431 no. For Referendum No. 129: Yes - 563, No - 329.

Regarding the initiatives, on No. 185, 268 voted for it and 699 voted against. For No. 186, 185 voted yes and 766 voted no.
