A dinner at the Broadus VFW for Korean War Veterans has been rescheduled. The dinner was originally planned for this Friday, but will instead be held on Saturday, August 18.
A social hour will be held from 6:30 – 7:30 PM, with dinner to follow at 7:30.
All living Korean War veterans and their families are free to attend, and families of deceased Korean War veterans are also welcome to attend. Additionally, all Veterans are welcome.
Broadus VFW President Mike Richards asked that folks who plan to attend let him know ahead of time, his number is 406-366-3782.
Additionally, all Veterans are welcome to attend the dinner.
The original date scheduled for the dinner, July 27, marked the 65th anniversary of the signing of the armistice of the Korean War, which formally ended the three year conflict. The Pentagon lists that 36,914 Americans died in the war.
