Golfers enjoy Farm in the Dell Scramble for Fun

Fifty duffers got together to support a good cause and to have good fun at the Powder River Farm in the Dell 6th annual Golf Scramble this past Saturday. It was obvious that there was a whole lot of fun, even if there wasn't a whole lot of golf aptitude.

There were 31 different hole sponsors whose placards decorated the course. The Farm's Board of Directors extends a big thank you to each of them as well as the 12 teams that participated. Other thank yous include Jackee Randall, Bev Miller and Gloria Compton for putting together the lunch, John Blain for barbequing and the Rolling Hills Golf course for allowing the event to take place.

Winning teams in the Gross and Net categories each received a feed bag of prizes and a traveling trophy.

Winning the Gross category (scores before handicap) with a 29 was the team of Alicia Donovan, Quinn Donovan, Dave Mader and Terry Powell.

Second Place Gross with a 30 was the team of Don Adams, Lee Randall, Ross Randall and Pete Wenzel

Third place Gross with a 31 was Bill Alderman, Tom Herzog, Russ Kinzer, and Trenton Schaffer.

Net score winners with a 16 were: Ellie Gardner, Kelli Gardner, Libby Gardner, and Tyler Gardner
