  • Superintendent's Report

    Jan 13, 2022

Recently I read an article in my hometown newspaper about an individual who graduated a few years prior to me. He did very well financially in the oil and gas industry and had even made a generous donation to the high school a few years ago. Unfortunately, the article was titled, “Dickinson Man Faces 40 Years for 886 Million in Securities Fraud Scheme.” The individual allegedly misrepresented the company’s financial status and misled investors out of nearly a billion dollars. Greed has a way of destroying a man’s integrity. Your school distric...

By Mrs. Lambert’s 2nd grade class The Best Christmas One night Santa got stuck in my chimney! I saw his feet dangling. He said, "Ho! Ho! Get me out!" So I thought ... would it work if I got some weights because aren't weights heavy? So I put five 316 pound weights around Santa's waist. The weights pulled him down and he landed on a trampoline. He bounced out of the chimney and into his sleigh. He gave me two extra presents. Then Santa went to the next home. By Myla Gatlin Santa is Stuck in My Chimney I heard a weird noise. Our school and community are very fortunate to offer a wide array of services. A number of these services are run with strictly volunteers or with very minimal financial compensation.
