    Broadus, MT - Last month, the Little Peeps program of Mountain Health Gives, based in Helena, provided 91 kids with a free eye exam at Broadus School. Sixteen of those kids were in need of a pair of glasses and will receive the glasses free of charge (several kids received two pairs). Little Peeps delivered the glasses to Broadus School on Monday morning, October 7.   • Broadus Topped Record Daily Highs Five Times In September

    Broadus experienced five separate daily record highs September. The records fell during the last week of September, with new record temps of 96, 98, 95, 98, and 97 recorded on September 25th, 26th, 27th, 29th, and 30th. Those record highs, when combined with above average temperatures throughout the month, set the average daily high for the month at 88.7 degrees, or nearly 10 degrees above the average of 79.0.
