While the team was preparing to snap the ball, Zimmer said he looked up and saw the moose crossing from the clinic to behind the elementary school. The moose reportedly ran behind the school and off past the cemetery, and has not returned. Earlier in t...

We really do try and that tells us we’re doing what our customers like. I want to thank all the vets and ladies that helped in our booth and before for setup and after for cleanup; especially Sue Richar...

The US drought monitor places a large portion of Powder River County in the D2 or Severe Drought category, the area roughly corresponding to the land which falls between the Powder River and Little Powder drainages. This is the only portion of Montana currently in severe drought. Nearly the entire remaining portion of the county falls under the D1 or Moderate Drought category. By Pat Ridenour Well folks, it has been a long 5 months since there has been any news of the Senior Center and its goings on. I'm pleased to say the Senior Center will be opening soon with Rita Harden as the new Director. I have spent parts of the last two weeks showing her the "ropes" and helping her get the feel of the duties she has signed on for. She will do great and for the most part things will probably stay the same. There will be a few tweaks with COVID-19 still lurking around the corner. Congregate Meals started Wednesday, August...
