I'm pleased to say the Senior Center will be opening soon with Rita Harden as the new Director. I have spent parts of the last two weeks showing her the "ropes" and helping her get the feel of the duties she has signed on for.     Powder River County has recorded its first COVID-19 case, with a local individual testing positive in mid-July. The official release did not state details about the individual, but we’ve independently verified the case as a female in her 30s, who acquired the virus on an out of state trip.
