    Early this November, the Broadus FFA competed at the Ag Expo in Billings. The Horse Judging team placed 16th with Alivia Landa placing 9th as a junior individual. Meats placed 19th as a team.     December 1, 1922 Growing of Alfalfa Seed Profitable L.W. Lewis, residing on Powder River, about twenty miles above Broadus, on Monday brought 6,000 pounds of native alfalfa seed to town that he had trucked the next day to Miles City. He is one of the first farmers to have his alfalfa seed threshed. He sold the entire lot to a Milwaukee seed firm at 20½ cents a pound, making the aggregate sum $1,230.
