By Kim Blain Weather did not hinder the seventeen Broadus High School students who were selected to participate in Montana's District 10 Honor Band and Choir on November 14th and 15th. Two days of intense rehearsals were held at Hardin High School, Hardin, MT with the culmination of a combined concert on Tuesday night. The Broadus Junior High Basketball teams finished their year last weekend at the end of season tournament at Sacred Heart, in Miles City. Both teams finished the tournament similar to how they went into the tournament: the girls were the two seed and finished second, the boys were the third seed and finished third. Edward John Bird passed away November 18, 2022, after a short, courageous battle with glioblastoma. Ed was born July 12, 1957, in Miles City, MT, the sixth of eight children born to Harold and Ann (Doran) Bird.
