  • Lady Hawk Volleyball plays at District Tourney

    Nov 7, 2019

The Broadus Lady Hawk Volleyball Team kicked off the District Tournament in Glendive last week by traveling up on Wednesday evening. The Lady Hawks were set to play in the early game on Thursday, so Coach Gordon Archer figured going up the day before would provide much better rest than waking up really early, traveling to Glendive, then potentially playing in several games throughout the day. Archer's thinking was sound, as those of us who awoke early to make the journey were able to test out ou...

The August date was a perfect day and several members met to paint outdoors from life at the beautiful flower garden of Bonnie Lyda. Three members and one guest took part in this plein air session. • Big Powder Ponderings

    Nov 7, 2019

Fren, neighbor, always willing to help, cowboy. I could go on and on, but one word that sums up Monte, he was an honest cow man and will always be missed by those that knew him. What a year for the ranchers here in Powder River County from...
