The unofficial election results for Powder River County are attached below. Results will be certified no later than November 17th. The situation last Thursday looked dire for the Lady Hawks, as they fell to the Wibaux Lady Longhorns in the first match of the tournament. Dear Editor; November 11th is Veteran’s Day. This is the 75th year after the end of WWII. As a very small child I remember being held and hugged by lots of veterans, WWI neighbors and many returning vets from WWII. While I was too young to understand the conversations, I could tell they really respected each other and helped each other. Many of the vets were home on leave and re-enlisting.
