Last week the MHSA Executive board voted to delay the start of high school winter sports, in an effort to flatten the curve in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Practices for basketball and wrestling will now begin on December 7th, as opposed to a late November original start for practice. Competitions delayed until the first week of January. The Broadus Hawks football team made the long drive to Fairview last Friday. Conditions for the game were abysmal, with temps in the low 30s and snow for much of the game.
