    The month of September was a bit warmer than average across the area, while precipitation totals were extremely spotty, as portions of the county received heavy rainfall on multiple occasions throughout the month, while others received below average moisture. The overall average temp for the month in Broadus was 65.8 degrees, or 3.4 degrees warmer than average.     Broadus traveled to Park City to play the Panthers on their home football field last Thursday. Prior to the game, four Hawk starters were out due to injury, meaning a young team had to start even younger players at various positions. During the Park City game two more players were injure.     The Broadus Cross Country Team ran on a unique, historic, and picturesque course amongst the cottonwoods lining the Yellowstone River last week.
