    It didn't take long for Broadus Hawk football to score on Friday, against St. Labre. Broadus ran the initial kick-off back for a touchdown, and kept the throttle down, leading to a 42-0 score after the first quarter. The cold evening also happened to be Pink Night to raise money for the local breast cancer fund, as well as Parent's Night for the Senior Hawks.     The Broadus School Board met Monday evening, discussing a variety of issues over the course of the evening. All Board Members were present for the meeting. First on the agenda was hirings and resignations. The Board accepted the resignation of Phill and Jenni Nelson, who held positions as Speech and Drama Coach, and Co-Head Cheer Coach, respectively.     The Broadus Lady Hawk volleyball team was hard at work last week, playing in one regular conference match, as well as a tournament in Ekalaka consisting of four matches. On Thursday, Broadus traveled to Terry. “Terry seemed to be pretty fired up to beat us, but our girls were ready, and handled the challenge really well,” Broadus Head Coach Gordon Archer described the match.     Two antelope, one buck and one doe, were shot and left whole to waste on the Birney Day Road in Rosebud County over the weekend, according to Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 7 Warden Jordan Straley. The Birney Day Road is between Birney Day, which is on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation, and the Tongue River Road. Straley said the animals were shot with a rifle, and likely killed within a day of Saturday, Sept. 29.
