    The August school board meeting took place Monday in the high school auditorium, with the temperature inside hovering just above the uncomfortable mark. Trustees Shasta Madsen, Dan Johnson, Rob Jones, Jay Schroeder, and Raquel Mader were in attendance, meeting the number for a quorum. Trustees Amanda Zimmer, Lori Fortner, and Waylon Billing were not present for the meeting.     By Tyler Gardner The 18th Annual Scramble 4 a Cure was a huge success. We had a full course each day! Friday was hot and windy, Saturday was cold, raining, and windy. We grossed $37,500 over two days, after all expenses are paid we will put $25,000 into the Cancer Fund. Huge thanks to the Rolling Hills Golf Course for there wonderful hospitality.     Courtesy MT DPHHS The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) and Flathead City-County Health Department today confirmed a single presumptive case of monkeypox virus infection in a Flathead County adult. Initial testing was completed August 5, 2022, at the Montana State Public Health Laboratory and confirmatory testing will occur next with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).     Mr. Robert John Brooks passed away Monday, August 2nd, 2022 after a brief illness. He was born in Lewistown, Montana Friday, January 3, 1936, the only child of John H. and Kathryn E.
