    The Scramble 4 A Cure Golf Tournament brought 36 teams of golfers out to Rolling Hills Golf Course on Friday and Saturday. The annual event has been a popular tournament for years, with proceeds raised going back to the community to directly help those afflicted by cancer and other auto-immune diseases requiring treatment.     14" of rainfall was recorded in Broadus over the month of July, beating the old total of 5.99" from July of 1993. The mean average for July is 1.51", so we received over 400% of our average for the month. As of Tuesday, August 6, Broadus had received a record year to date precipitation total, with 15.61" of precipitation thus far in 2019.     Courtesy DPHSS Governor Steve Bullock announced Tuesday that six EMS services in Montana will pilot a model of community-based healthcare designed to expand the role of EMS providers to deliver more effective and efficient non-emergency services, including Jesse Ambulance Service in Broadus.     (MILES CITY) - A father and son from Canada were sentenced April 10 in Lewis and Clark County District Court in Helena following a lengthy Montana license fraud investigation. As part of the case, 50 big game animals were seized on a search warrant executed in Custer County, Montana. They included 15 elk, 22 mule deer, 11 antelope, one bighorn sheep and one mountain goat.     A wreck on highway 212 near mile marker 80, just west of Home Creek Divide Monday afternoon sent local emergency response crews scrambling to the scene, as a pickup truck collided with a semi-truck carrying haz-mat. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 4:45 PM, involving a local teen driving a pickup truck, which drifted into the opposite lane on a curve, hitting the semi. For old business, the Art Show that was held during the July Centennial Celebration was discussed.
