    By Gina Vineyard Powder River First Responders recently received a $3,000 grant from the Powder River Community Endowment Fund to help replace pads and batteries in local AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) around the county.     By Tyler Gardner The 18th annual Scramble 4 a Cure takes place August 5th and 6th at the Rolling Hills Golf Course. The annual golf tournament is one of three fundraising events for our local cancer fund. Since last August we have sent $1200 to 24 individuals who are fighting cancer in our Southeastern Montana community.     Fifteen teams combining for 60 players competed in the second annual Don Gatlin Memorial Golf Tournament, held last weekend at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Broadus.     July 28, 1922 Butler Spuds in with Celebration A celebration Saturday afternoon and evening marked the spuding in of the Butler oil well at the place of Mrs. Esther Williams in the Coalwood structure. People literally swarmed to the location to see the new Leidecker machine in actual drilling operations. Officials of the Butler Oil & Gas Co. were much pleased with the keen interest manifested in this oil development work and they accorded the visitors genuine hospitality.
