A dinner at the Broadus VFW for Korean War Veterans has been rescheduled. The dinner was originally planned for this Friday, but will instead be held on Saturday, August 18. A social hour will be held from 6:30 – 7:30 PM, with dinner to follow at 7:30. Submitted by Miriam Riesland 2018 will mark the 85th year of the Cadwell Springs Camp, and Interdenominational Holiness Camp in the secluded pine-covered hills of Southeastern Montana. The camp will take place July 26 to August 5, 2018. A few notes on the camp: The snack bar is open in the afternoon and after the evening service and there’s always time for rest or recreation in the afternoon. On Saturday, Robin Reames was cited for Criminal Trespass after being asked to leave multiple times, and failing to do so. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks wants to remind anglers that as reservoir water temperatures increase, mortality associated with catch and release also increases. A study published in 2011 in The North American Journal of Fisheries Management found that walleye catch and release mortality rate rose from 0-1.8% with water temps below 68° F to nearly 16% when water temps were above 68° F.
