    On Monday, the County Compensation Board met for their annual meeting on salaries for elected officials. The nine member board consists of two members of the public at large (Ann Emmons and Todd Gardner), the three county commissioners, the clerk and recorder, and three elected officials. Tizer won the softball throw and Jesse won the 200m, 400m and 800m. On July 16th, Abbey, Elliott and Jesse competed in the Big Sky State Games.     By Gloria Nelson, Wibaux Pioneer Gazette United States Postal Service raised First-Class Mail rates July 9. One ounce First-Class Mail letters went from 63 cents to 66 cents. Metered First-Class Mail letters weighing 1 ounce went from 60 cents to 63 cents. Postcards sent within United States rose from 48 cents to 51 cents. International postcards went from $1.45 to $1.50, which is the same rate for 1-ounce First-Class International letters.
