    Alyssa Riley, recently graduated Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, has returned home to Southeastern Montana to practice her trade. While in vet school, Riley interned and worked at Broadus Veterinary Clinic, and even before she graduated this spring the decision to return home was an easy one: "These guys at the vet clinic are so great to work with.     Kyle Minow, Broadus Class of 2021, played in the 8 Man All Star football game in Butte on Saturday. The Bob Cleverly game features the top Class C 8 Man players from around the state of Montana, and has been a tradition for 37 years.   • PR County Now Under Rabies Quarantine

    Dogs, cats, and ferrets in Powder River County are now subject to quarantine, under an order issued by the MT Department of Livestock last week. A Powder River County skunk was diagnosed with rabies on June 3rd, which caused the quarantine order on June 4th. One dog was exposed to the rabid skunk and is being managed for exposure to rabies.     The filing deadline for a municipal election is coming up on June 21st, at 5 PM. Two positions on the council will be up for election, as well as the position of mayor. Lori Turnbough’s position is up for election, which covers the area west of Park Avenue (that is, Highway 212 going south from the light, and continuing north up to the VFW).     Tyronne McEuen, Broadus Class of ’83 and son of Becky McEuen of Broadus, is a finalist for the Washington state Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching. A field day was not able to be held last year, so 3rd and 4th Graders were invited to this fun educational session. There were ten stations for the kids to learn about conservation.
