During a recent chat with the Powder River County Commissioners, we learned that funding has been received from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration and the State for hangars at the airport in Broadus. Since the BDX airport was moved from southwest of Broadus to its current location northwest of town in 2005, there has been no storage or cover for airplanes. Two Broadus Wrestlers qualified for State this year – Dakota Holbrook and Kyle Minow, both wrestling at 170 lbs. On "normal" years, the State Tournament is held at the Metra in Billings as an All-Class Tournament. The event is quite the spectacle with the number of wrestlers and attendees in the large venue.
