    The Broadus Wrestling team traveled to Glasgow over the weekend for the Scottie Invitational, sleeping on the gym mats overnight. Coach Frankie Schoonover told us that sleeping on the mats was a great team building exercise that the kids loved, though he wasn’t nearly as enthused about the idea of sleeping on the cold hard mats, being 41 years old and more comfortable in a bed (the editor can definitely relate). The artwork, which is made into ads for local businesses, has been an ongoing collaboration between the school and the newspaper for over 40 years.     Boys The Broadus boys played the Bridger Scouts to a tie in the first quarter, last Friday. They would also tie in the fourth quarter...the two quarters in between were the difference maker, as Bridger made as many free throws as Broadus shot the entire game. Those extra free throw points were what tipped the scale for Bridger, as the Scouts beat the Hawks 47-42, with Gage Goltz of Bridger hitting 10 of 14 free throws from the line.
