    The Powder River County Sheriff’s Office has undergone a few changes over the last few weeks. Officers now sport body cameras, which time has become an integral part of the American law enforcement officer’s kit.     Congratulations to the Speech and Drama students! All three students qualified for state this year at Divisionals in Plentywood. Samantha Perry, a freshman, competed in Dramatic Solo and did a fantastic job in the preliminary rounds. She may not have placed, but qualifying for a State medal as a freshman is rare and difficult.     The Broadus Hawk Wrestlers competed in Hardin over the weekend. Coach Frankie Schoonover took 10 matmen to the meet, which also happened to be the final test for the Hawks before Divisional Tournaments. "We had a good weekend," Schoonover said of Hardin.     Boys The Broadus Hawk boys team traveled to Ekalaka last Tuesday. In their previous meeting here in Broadus, Ekalaka's star player, 6'4" Mick O' Connor, was out for the game. O' Connor was back in action on Tuesday, and he made sure his presence was known against the Hawks, accounting for 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 blocks.     Isabel "Tootie" Flora Cameron Zook, age 81, of Miles City died on Monday, January 21, 2019. Tootie was born in Miles City, MT on December 23, 1937 to John and Jessie Cameron. Her parents were Scottish immigrants and it was tradition to name the first daughter after her maternal grandmother. Consequently, Mom had several cousins named either Isabel or Ishbel.     January 14, 2019 County commissioners, Donna Giacometto, Lee Randall and Rod Schaffer met for the weekly meeting. There was no public comment at this time.
