Broadus wrestlers traveled to Moorcroft, Wyoming last Friday and Saturday to compete in the Dylan Humes Memorial. The Hawks showed up ready to wrestle, as five of the nine team members wrestling varsity matches placed at the event. Kail Irish wrestled at 132, and lost two matches by decision. Broadus basketball teams went on an impromptu road series over the weekend, after continued heating issues at the Broadus High School led to the previously scheduled home game against Plevna to be switched to playing in Plevna. Bonnie Marie (Jenkins) Hoover was born February 28, 1934 to Joseph Ulysess Jenkins & Leona Mabel (Cloud) Jenkins in a sod hut in Lincoln County, Colorado.
