    The Broadus basketball teams hosted a pair of conference games over the weekend, the first against Ekalaka, on Friday, then against a dominant set of Melstone teams on Saturday. Our little band of thespians performed well under the pressure of such a large meet. Samantha Perry performed her piece, “The Raven” as a dramatic solo for the first time.     Thursday, January 12, 1989 New auto dealership announced Gary Alderman and Lewis Hoffman of A & H Truck Stop announced that they have been approved for a dealership in new and used Ford and Chevrolet vehicles through Heberle Ford of Forsyth.
