January is a great time to begin a gentle exercise program. The Arthritis Exercise classes offered by MSU Extension- Powder River are gentle, yet as strenuous as an individual wants to make them. Hand-held weights and resistance bands are available for strength training, and range of motion and endurance exercises make up the remaining one-hour class. The Powder River County Sheriff’s Office now has a window tint meter, which gauges the darkness of windows. The deputies will be using this gauge to check vehicles to ensure they fall within legal limits. Montana statute limits window tint to allow light transmission of no less than 24% on the front windows of vehicles, and tint is limited to 14% light transmission on rear side windows and back windows. The Broadus Wrestling Squad competed in three matches over the past month, including a mixer at Baker, the Glasgow Tournament, and last weekend, in Hettinger, ND. PBR Champion Bullrider Jess Lockwood kicked off his 2020 season at the Buckoff at Madison Square Garden in New York City over the weekend.
