Project Overview This bid package is issued to solicit proposals from qualified contractors to use thermal aircraft for the mapping and monitoring of coal seam fires. The project involves conducting aerial surveys using thermal imaging technology to identify active coal seams, monitor fire intensity, and assess the overall extent of coal seam fires in designated areas. Additionally, the collected data will be processed, analyzed, and integrated into ArcGIS for detailed mapping and further spatial analysis. Project Scope • Objective: To conduct aerial thermal surveys for the mapping of coal seams in the designated area and integrate the collected data into ArcGIS for further analysis. • Services to be Provided: o Thermal aircraft flights to cover the designated survey area. o Use of high-resolution thermal imaging cameras to detect heat from underground coal seam fires. o Data collection, processing, and analysis to identify hotspots and fire boundaries. o Conversion of thermal data into GIS-compatible formats. o Integration of thermal data into ArcGIS for detailed spatial analysis and mapping. o Continuous monitoring to assess the status of active coal seams over a designated period.
